I have done a lot of thinking about Christmas this year. It seems that as I get older, I search harder for the meaning of things. I love that. I hope it never stops. At our house, we have been celebrating Advent - the season of anticipation and celebration of what is to come.
Hope.
Joy.
Peace.
Love.
Christ the Savior.
Each Sunday for the last three weeks, we have lit one of five small white candles on our living room table each representing these five themes; these five reasons to celebrate.
Being surrounded by fast paced people and schedules, it is so easy to get caught up in it. To forget.
At the end of each week, I have found myself desiring and seeking a more worshipful heart. He is my hope, therefore worship. He is my source of joy, therefore worship. He is peace, therefore worship. He is love, therefore worship. He is my Savior, therefore worship.
